Description

Enjoy the rich, buttery flavor of Outback Steakhouse sautéed mushrooms at home! Tender mushrooms with garlic, beef broth, and Burgundy wine — made easy in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 16 ounces fresh white button mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10.5 ounces beef broth
  • 1/3 cup Burgundy wine

Instructions

  • Clean and slice the mushrooms, mince the garlic, and dice the onion.
  • In a bowl, toss the mushrooms, garlic, onion, salt, and melted butter until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
  • Add the beef broth and Burgundy wine, then return to the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to warm the sauce.
  • Stir and serve hot as a savory side dish.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

For a richer flavor, use cremini or baby bella mushrooms. To make it wine-free, replace the Burgundy with extra beef broth or a splash of balsamic vinegar.
