Description

This easy Outback Steakhouse Blue Cheese Dressing is a creamy, tangy copycat you can make in just 5 minutes. Loaded with chunky blue cheese and made from simple ingredients, it's perfect for salads, wings, veggies, or drizzling over a juicy steak.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk, adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar, or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon optional seasonings, onion powder or paprika, to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
  • Crumble in the blue cheese. Mash with a fork for a chunkier texture, or blend for a smoother one.
  • Stir in the buttermilk and white vinegar until creamy and smooth.
  • Add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so the flavors meld.
  • Serve with salads, as a dip, or drizzled over your favorite dishes.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
