Omaha Steaks Scalloped Potatoes Recipe is a creamy, cheesy, and indulgent side dish, perfect for family dinners, holidays, or special occasions.

Ingredients 

  • 4 pounds Potatoes, thinly sliced: (about 8 medium potatoes)
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, melt the 6 tablespoons Butter, then whisk in 1/4 cup All-purpose flour until smooth. Gradually add 2 cups Milk and 1 cup Heavy cream, stirring constantly. Season with 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt, 1 teaspoon Black pepper, 1 teaspoon Garlic powder , and 1 teaspoon Onion powder .
  • Spray the crockpot with cooking spray. Place a layer of sliced potatoes at the bottom, pour a portion of the creamy sauce over them, and sprinkle some 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers until all potatoes, sauce, and cheese are used, finishing with a cheese layer on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until potatoes are tender and sauce is bubbly.
  • If desired, sprinkle extra Parmesan on top and broil in the oven for 2–3 minutes for a golden crust.
  • Let sit 5–10 minutes before serving so the sauce thickens slightly.
