A thick, chocolatey copycat Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino made in the Ninja Creami. Real mocha in the base, real chocolate chips folded in at the end, and directions for both the Creami Deluxe and the original machine.
Ingredients
For the base:
1/3cupgranulated sugar
2tablespoonschocolate syrup, or mocha sauce
14ouncesstrong brewed coffee, or espresso, hot
3/4cuphalf and half
For mixing in:
3tablespoonsmini chocolate chips, java chips
1tablespoonscold coffee, or milk, for re-spinning
For topping:
Whipped cream
Chocolate syrup
Additional mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Add the granulated sugar and chocolate syrup to a clean Ninja Creami pint. Pour in the hot coffee and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Stir in the half and half. Fill to the DRINKABLE line on a Deluxe pint or the MAX FILL line on an original pint. Do not overfill.
Seal with the pint lid and freeze on a flat, level surface for a full 24 hours.
Remove the pint from the freezer, take off the lid, and lock it into the outer bowl. Select CREAMICCINO (Deluxe) or LITE ICE CREAM (original Creami).
If the mixture comes out crumbly — which is normal — add 1–2 tablespoons of cold coffee or milk and run RE-SPIN. Repeat if needed until smooth and pourable.
Poke a hole to the bottom of the pint, add the mini chocolate chips, and run MIX-IN.
Pour into a chilled glass and top with whipped cream, a chocolate drizzle, and extra java chips. Serve immediately.

Notes
Original Creami users: scale ingredients to about two-thirds for the 16 oz pint.
The first spin is usually crumbly. Re-spin with a splash of liquid — this is expected, not a mistake.
Add chocolate chips at the end only. Chips frozen into the base get destroyed by the blade.
