Preheat the oven to 425°F. Place the naan on a rimmed baking sheet, brush each with ½ teaspoon olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
Bake for 3 minutes.
Divide the cheddar between the naan and top with the crumbled bacon.
Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crisp.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and cook 2 to 3 minutes, until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.
Top each pizza with a fried egg, garnish with chives and black pepper, slice and serve.
Equipment
Oven and rimmed baking sheet (or air fryer)
Nonstick skillet
Thin spatula
Pastry Brush
Pizza cutter or sharp knife
Notes
Air fryer: Pre-crisp one naan at a time at 350°F for 2 minutes, add the cheese and bacon, air fry 3 to 5 minutes more, then top with a fried egg.
To bake the egg on the pizza instead, make a ring of cheese after the pre-bake, crack the egg into the center and bake at 425°F for 8 to 12 minutes.
Start frying the eggs when the pizzas go back in the oven so everything finishes together.
Best served right away. Refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days; the yolk will firm up when reheated.
