Description

Enjoy Morton’s Steakhouse Shrimp Alexander at home with jumbo shrimp in a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce, baked to perfection and garnished with fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup Flour, or a gluten-free alternative
  • 1 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs, panko works best for crispiness
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika, optional, garlic powder, or other seasonings

Instructions

  • Pat 3/4 pound Jumbo shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with 1/2 teaspoon Salt, 1/4 teaspoon Pepper and 1/8 teaspoon paprika.
  • Arrange three shallow bowls: one with1/4 cup Flour, one with beaten 1 large Eggs, and one with 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (plus any extra seasonings).
  • Coat each shrimp in flour, shake off excess, dip in egg, then cover with breadcrumbs. Press gently so coating sticks.
  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle a bit of oil for extra crispiness.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  • Transfer shrimp to a plate and serve immediately with dipping sauce, lemon wedges, or over salad or pasta.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
