Description
The discontinued McNugget sauce, made at home in 5 minutes. Sweet, tangy, and just spicy enough — exactly like you remember.
Ingredients
½
cup
spicy brown mustard
2
tablespoons
light corn syrup
,
or golden syrup
4
teaspoons
mustard powder
2
teaspoons
granulated sugar
2
teaspoons
white vinegar
1
teaspoon
soy sauce
,
or gluten-free tamari
¼
teaspoon
cayenne pepper
Optional: pinch of turmeric
,
for color
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a small bowl.
Whisk until completely smooth and uniform in color.
Taste and adjust sugar or cayenne to preference.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, before serving.
