A rich, creamy spiked hot chocolate made with real chocolate and smooth Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The perfect cozy nightcap for adults — ready in 15 minutes.
Ingredients
2cupswhole milk
½cupheavy cream
4ozdark or semi-sweet chocolate, 60–70% cacao, chopped
2tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
2tbspgranulated sugar, adjust to taste
3ozJack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, 1.5 oz per serving
1tspvanilla extract
Pinchof salt
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings, to garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium-low until steaming (do not boil).
Whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until fully dissolved.
Add the chopped chocolate and whisk constantly until melted, smooth, and glossy.
Remove from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract, then the Jack Daniel's.
Pour into two mugs and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.
