There is nothing better for lunch than an Instant Pot Philly Cheesesteak Sliders. Made with flank steak, bell peppers, served on a King’s Hawaiian Roll, and it’s smothered with provolone cheese.
Ingredients
2poundsflank steak, sliced
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
2wholebell peppers, sliced
1cupwater, or beef broth
8dinner rolls, King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls
12slicesprovolone cheese
1tablespoonbutter
1tablespooncornstarch
Instructions
Place the meat, peppers, and water in the Instant Pot. Cover and close pressure valve. Set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes
When finished, release the pressure valve and open the lid. Remove meat and shred. Add your meat back to your Instant Pot with peppers. For a thicker sauce, add a tablespoon of corn starch.
Cut dinner bun in half. Add the bottom portion of the buns to a 8 x 8 baking pan.
Spoon meat and peppers onto the buns. Evenly distribute
Cover the meat and peppers with provolone cheese and set under the broiler on high. It should take about 3 to 4 minutes for the provolone cheese to melt. Once the cheese is melted, remove and place top buns, brush with some butter.
