Ingredients
1cupsteel-cut oats
3cupswater
¼teaspoonsalt
¼cupdried fruit, raisins or cranberries
¼cupchopped nuts, walnuts or almonds
1tablespoonbrown sugar, or maple syrup
Fresh fruit, optional, for topping
Instructions
Pour steel-cut oats, water, salt, dried fruit, and chopped nuts into the Instant Pot. Stir gently to combine.
Secure the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on High Pressure for 4 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then carefully turn the valve to venting to release any remaining pressure.
Open the lid and stir the oatmeal. Add brown sugar or maple syrup to taste and mix well.
Spoon oatmeal into bowls. Top with fresh fruit if desired, and serve warm.
