Ingredients 

  • 1 1/2 cups Jasmine rice , (rinsed)
  • 13.5 ounces coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch and ensures fluffy rice.
  • Add the rinsed rice, coconut milk, water, sugar and salt to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" on high for 4 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is up, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10 minutes, then carefully quick-release any remaining pressure.
  • Open the lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve hot. Enjoy the creamy, fragrant coconut jasmine rice with your favorite dishes!
