Description

Learn how to dehydrate zucchini in an air fryer for crispy, healthy snacks. Easy step-by-step method for perfectly dried zucchini slices every time.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ranch seasoning, or garlic powder, to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the zucchini into thin, even slices using a sharp knife or mandoline. Keeping the slices uniform helps them dehydrate evenly and crisp up perfectly.
  • Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined air fryer basket or dehydrator tray. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture for even dehydration.
  • Put the baking sheet with zucchini slices into the air fryer and set the air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F (190°C). And set cook time for 15-20 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, and adjust the time as needed based on thickness.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer, Air Fryer Basket or Air Fryer Oven, with or without a dehydrator
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
