Description

This First Watch Copycat Cobb Salad is loaded with fresh romaine, juicy chicken, crispy bacon, eggs, avocado, and a creamy tangy dressing. It’s hearty, protein-packed, and perfect for meal prep, family dinners, or a restaurant-style meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 6 cooked chicken breasts, sliced or diced
  • 12 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 3 avocados, sliced
  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles, optional

Cobb Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups ranch dressing
  • 6 tablespoons blue cheese dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Start by prepping all your ingredients so everything is ready to go. Chop the 12 cups romaine lettuce and set it into a large bowl or platter as your base.
  • Cook the 6 cooked chicken breasts until golden and juicy, then slice it into strips or bite-sized pieces. Fry the 12 strips bacon until crispy and crumble it once cooled.
  • Boil the 6 hard-boiled eggs peel them, and slice into even pieces. Cut the 3 avocados and 3 cups cherry tomatoes, then slice the ½ cup red onion thin.
  • Now comes the signature Cobb salad look—layer everything in neat rows over the lettuce: chicken, bacon, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, and onion. Garnish with 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles.
  • Whisk together the 1 ½ cups ranch dressing, 6 tablespoons blue cheese dressing 1 tablespoon lemon juice Salt and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad right before serving or keep it on the side if you like it lighter.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy that fresh, crunchy, restaurant-style Cobb salad at home
