Easy Ninja Speedi Spaghetti and Meatballs (One-Pot)

Description

: Tender meatballs and saucy spaghetti cook together in the Ninja Speedi in just 27 minutes. A true one-pot weeknight dinner using the SteamCrisp function — no boiling, no extra skillet, no fuss.

Ingredients 

For the spaghetti and sauce:

  • cups cold water
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, broken in half
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

For the meatballs:

  • 1 1/4 pounds meatballs, fresh or frozen, fully-cooked

For serving:

  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  • Add water, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the Ninja Speedi pot. Stir well to combine.
  • Break the spaghetti in half and scatter it in a crisscross pattern across the sauce. Press gently to fully submerge — add a splash more water if any pasta is sticking out of the liquid.
  • Expand the legs of the Crisper Tray and place it into the pot above the pasta. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer on the tray.
  • Close the lid and slide the switch to SteamCrisp. Select Speedi Meals, set temperature to 370°F, and time to 12 minutes. Press START.
  • When the cycle ends, carefully lift out the Crisper Tray and set it aside. Stir the spaghetti and sauce, then nestle the meatballs down into the pasta.
  • Switch to STEAM mode and cook for an additional 10 minutes to finish the pasta to al dente.
  • Stir one more time, taste and adjust salt, and serve topped with grated Parmesan, fresh parsley, and extra red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

  • rozen meatballs: Use straight from the freezer — no thawing required.
  • Pasta substitutions: Penne, ziti, rigatoni, or rotini work with the same timing.
  • Gluten-free: Reduce the second STEAM cycle to 6–7 minutes.
  • Storage: Refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
  • Reheating: Use STEAM mode in the Speedi for 3–4 minutes, or warm in a saucepan with a splash of water.
