These Easy Instant Pot Green Beans are quick, healthy, and delicious—perfectly cooked and ready in minutes for any meal or holiday gathering!
Ingredients
1lbfresh green beans, trimmed
1cupwater or broth
1/2tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
1tbspbutter or olive oil, optional
1clovegarlic, minced (optional)
Instructions
Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
Pour 1 cup of water or broth into the Instant Pot. Place the green beans inside, either directly or in a steamer basket.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and add garlic (if using).
Seal the Instant Pot lid and set it to Manual (High Pressure) for 0-1 minutes depending on how tender you prefer the beans.
Once the cooking time is up, perform a quick release by turning the valve to release the steam.
If desired, toss with butter or olive oil for extra flavor. Serve immediately!
