Ingredients
2avocados, sliced into fry-shaped sticks
1largeegg, beaten
3tablespoonsgluten-free flour, for dredging
½cupgluten-free breadcrumbs, panko style works best
¼cupgrated Parmesan cheese, grated, optional
1teaspoonsalt, to taste
1/2teaspoonblack pepper, to taste
1/2teaspoonOptional seasonings, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder
Instructions
Slice the 2 avocados into fry-shaped sticks and pat lightly with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Lightly coat each avocado fry with 3 tablespoons gluten-free flour.
In a bowl, mix ½ cup gluten-free breadcrumbs, ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (if using), 1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and any 1/2 teaspoon Optional seasonings.
Dip each floured avocado fry into the beaten 1 large egg then roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so it sticks.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the coated avocado fries in a single layer, leaving space for air circulation. Cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Let cool slightly, then enjoy as a snack, appetizer, or side dish. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
