Description

Easy Air Fryer Walleye with no breading is tender, flaky, and full of fresh flavor. Ready in under 15 minutes, this low-carb, simple fish recipe is perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound walleye fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika, optional
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon paprika.
  • Place the w1 pound walleye fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let the fish sit for 15–30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Preheat your air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F (190°C), for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the fillets from the marinade and shake off any excess. Lightly coat with cooking spray if you want extra crispiness.
  • Arrange the fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set cook time for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the walleye from the air fryer and serve immediately with fresh Lemon wedges
