Description

Tender, juicy air fryer teriyaki salmon bites with sticky, sweet-savory glaze. Quick, easy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or appetizers.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking oil.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or ½ teaspoon ground ginger, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch until smooth.
  • Cut 1 pound salmon fillets into bite-sized chunks. Toss gently in half of the prepared glaze to coat evenly.
  • Place salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set cook time for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway through, until salmon is opaque and lightly caramelized.
  • Toss the cooked salmon bites with the remaining glaze for extra flavor.
  • Garnish with 2 green onions and 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds if desired. Serve over rice, noodles, or as an appetizer.

Oven Method:

Stovetop Method:
Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon bites for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and caramelized. Toss with remaining glaze before serving.
Grill Method:
Preheat grill to medium heat. Place salmon bites on foil or a greased grate. Grill 3–4 minutes per side, then toss with extra glaze.
