Quick, crispy air fryer shrimp tacos made with frozen shrimp. Perfect for weeknight dinners or game-day snacks, loaded with fresh toppings.
Ingredients
1lbfrozen shrimp,, , peeled and deveined
1tbspolive oil
1teaspoontaco seasoning, adjust to taste
8taco shells, soft or hard
1cupshredded lettuce
1cupdiced tomatoes
1avocado, sliced
½cupshredded cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, or preferred
¼cupsour cream or preferred taco sauce
Lime wedges for garnish, optional
Instructions
Set air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking oil.
Toss 1 lb frozen shrimp, with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 teaspoon taco seasoning until evenly coated.
Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway, until shrimp are pink and slightly crispy.
Heat 8 taco shells in the oven or microwave according to package instructions.
Fill each shell with cooked shrimp, then top with 1 cup shredded lettuce, 1 cup diced tomatoes, 1 avocado, ½ cup shredded cheese, and ¼ cup sour cream or preferred taco sauce.
Lime wedges for garnish if desired and serve immediately.
