Sweet and tropical Air Fryer Rum Soaked Pineapple made with fresh or canned pineapple, rum, and warm spices. Quick, easy, and perfect for a dessert or side dish.
Ingredients
15ouncespineapple, sliced
1/4cuprum, any type
1/4cupbrown sugar
1/4teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4teaspoonground ginger
1/4teaspoonground nutmeg
1/4teaspoonground cloves
Instructions
Mix the 1/4 cup rum, 15 ounces pineapple, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
Place the pineapple rings onto the air fryer tray or in the air fryer basket. Set them in at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. (air fryer setting)
After the 5 minutes is up, brush the marinade over the pineapple. Return to the air fryer and set the temperature at 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 3 minutes.
