Description

Crispy Easy Air Fryer Panko Crusted Red Snapper with golden breadcrumb coating and tender, flaky fish. Quick, flavorful seafood dinner ready in minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 4 red snapper fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Pat the 4 red snapper fillets dry with paper towels. Dry fish = crispy coating.
  • Place flour in one shallow bowl, beaten 2 large eggs in another, and ½ cup panko breadcrumbs mixed with 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon paprika in a third bowl.
  • Dredge each fillet in ½ cup all-purpose flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then press firmly into the seasoned panko. Ensure the coating sticks on all sides.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. A hot basket helps the crust crisp up.
  • Lightly spray the basket with olive oil. Place fillets in a single layer and spray the tops lightly with oil. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the fish flakes easily (internal temperature 145°F).
  • Serve immediately with Lemon wedges for maximum crunch and flavor.
