Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Cut the cold 1/4 cup butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup lemonade, 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg, 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Add this wet mixture to the flour and butter mixture, stirring gently until a dough forms. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
Lightly flour a surface and turn the dough out. Gently press it into a round shape, about 1-inch thick. You can also divide the dough into smaller portions if you prefer mini scones.
Using a knife or a scone cutter, cut the dough into wedges or your desired shape.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the scone wedges in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch. Set cook time for 10-12 minutes or until the scones are golden brown and cooked through.
Once done, remove the scones from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
