Easy Air Fryer Hooter's Buffalo Shrimp recipe with crispy, spicy shrimp tossed in classic buffalo sauce. Perfect appetizer or weeknight meal ready in minutes.
Ingredients
Hooter's Shrimp Ingredients:
1poundshrimp, raw, deveined, tail removed
3/4cupall-purpose flour
1/2teaspoonground paprika
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
Hooter's Buffalo Sauce Ingredients:
1/4cupFrank's Red Hot Sauce,
1/4cupbutter, unsalted
Instructions
Add the 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to a small bowl, and mix well. Then coat your shrimp with the flour mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to help the batter stay on the shrimp.
Add the 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce in a small saucepan, simmer over medium-high heat, and remove after about 3-5 minutes.
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper, set the 1 pound shrimp in a single layer into the bottom of the air fryer basket, and set the cooking time for 5-9 minutes, at 390 degrees F, using the air fryer setting. Remove the cooked shrimp from the air fryer basket and stoss with the buffalo sauce.
Serve with your favorite blue cheese dressing, celery sticks, and carrot sticks!
