Description

Make crispy, golden Easy Air Fryer Eggless French Toast at home. A quick egg-free breakfast that’s soft inside, lightly crisp outside, and perfect for busy mornings

Ingredients 

  • 4 slices Bread, Thick slices
  • 1 cup Plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon Flaxseed meal
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract,
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon,
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Butter, or oil: For greasing the air fryer basket to prevent sticking

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup Plant-based milk, 1 tablespoon Flaxseed meal, 1 tablespoon Maple syrup 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg until smooth. Let the mixture sit for 2–3 minutes so the flaxseed thickens slightly and acts as a binder.
  • Dip each slice of 4 slices Bread into the batter, making sure both sides are fully coated. Let the bread soak for 15–20 seconds per side to absorb enough flavor without becoming soggy.
  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket with 1 teaspoon Butter or oil. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes if your model requires preheating.
  • Place the soaked bread slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • Remove the French toast from the air fryer and serve warm. Top with maple syrup, fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or your favorite vegan toppings.
