Easy air fryer chocolate cupcakes that are rich, moist, and ready in minutes — perfect for a quick dessert, parties, or any chocolate craving. No oven required..

Ingredients 

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • Optional: chocolate buttercream frosting

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, oil, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir just until combined.
  • Slowly stir in the water — the batter will be thin.
  • Line or lightly grease a muffin tin and fill each cup about two-thirds full.
  • Air fry at 330°F (165°C) for 9–12 minutes, working in batches so the basket isn't crowded, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before frosting.
