Description

Soft, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chips. Quick, single-pan dessert perfect for a family treat or solo indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to cream the softened 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Gently fold in the 1 cup chocolate chips for even distribution throughout the dough.
  • Spray a small, air fryer-safe skillet or pan with cooking spray. Press the cookie dough evenly into the skillet.
  • Place the skillet in the air fryer and cook at 320°F for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  • Allow the skillet cookie to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate.
