In a large mixing bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the 2 large eggs until fully incorporated.
Add the 1 cup all-purpose flour c1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking powder, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips gently.
Scoop the dough into roughly 1-inch balls.
Flatten each ball slightly with your hands and place them on a greased air fryer tray.
Set air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F and set cook time for 5-7 minutes, or until cookies are set but still soft in the center.
Repeat with remaining dough, or store leftover dough in the fridge for up to one day for another batch.
