Air Fryer Blueberry Galette with flaky puff pastry and sweet, juicy blueberry filling. Easy rustic dessert made quickly in the air fryer with golden, crisp edges.
Ingredients
1cupblueberries, fresh
1tablespoonlemon juice
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1teaspooncornstarch
1sheetpuff pastry , thawed
1largeegg
1teaspoonsparkling sugar, optional
Instructions
Place your 1 sheet puff pastry into the air fryer basket.
In a small mixing bowl, add the 1 cup blueberries1/2 cup granulated sugar1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cornstarch and mix well.
Place the blueberries in the center. The amount is going to be determined by how big your galette is. The large gallate will use all the fillings; if you have a smaller air fryer, you must do 3 galettes, so divide the filling accordingly.
Fold the edges up and over the edge of the pastry, and do it all around. Press the dough together.
In a small bowl, crack 1 large egg and mix in 1 tablespoon of water; this is your egg wash.
Use a pastry brush and brush the pastry with egg wash. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sparkling sugar over the pastry.
Set in the air fryer temperature to 330 degrees F, and set cook time for 15-20 minutes.
