Easy air fryer apple fritters made with flaky canned biscuits and sweet apple pie filling, brushed in butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar. This 20-minute shortcut tastes like a bakery apple fritter with no yeast and no deep frying — the perfect quick breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
8countPillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits, 1 package
1/2cupapple pie filling, chopped small
1/4cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonground cinnamon
2tablespoonsbutter, melted
Instructions
Flatten each biscuit into a roughly 3 x 3-inch square.
Chop the apple pie filling into small pieces and add to a small bowl. Melt the butter. In a separate bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon.
Lay a piece of dough flat, add about 1 tablespoon of filling to the center, and sprinkle on a little cinnamon sugar.
Roll the dough over the filling and pinch the ends to seal completely so it doesn't leak.
Roll each fritter in melted butter, then in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place in a greased air fryer basket or on a greased tray, leaving space between each. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden.
