Description

A creamy, tangy, slightly spicy dipping sauce for fried pickles, made in 5 minutes with pantry staples. The perfect cool dip for hot, crispy pickles.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Whisk the mayonnaise and ketchup together in a bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in the dill pickle juice until fully combined.
  • Add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne; whisk well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, keeping in mind the pickle juice is already salty.
  • Adjust consistency with a splash more pickle juice (thinner) or mayo (thicker).
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes, then serve with fried pickles.

Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Whisk
