This smoky, tangy copycat Denny's Diner Q sauce takes 5 minutes to whisk together with pantry staples. Spread it on burgers or serve it as a dip for fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders.
Ingredients
½cupmayonnaise
¼cupsmoky barbecue sauce
2tablespoonsketchup
1tablespoonyellow mustard
1tablespoondill pickle relish, or 1 tablespoon pickle juice
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonbrown sugar, or honey
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
1/8teaspoonof cayenne pepper, optional
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine the base. Add the mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, relish, and Worcestershire sauce to a medium bowl.
Add the seasonings. Sprinkle in the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Whisk until completely smooth.
Taste and adjust. Add more BBQ sauce for extra smokiness, more mustard for tang, or more cayenne for heat. Season with salt and pepper.
Chill. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can blend. Stir before serving.
