Description

Light, golden, and irresistibly crispy, these breaded air fryer artichoke hearts make an easy appetizer, snack, or side in about 20 minutes.

Ingredients 

  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 14.5 ounces artichoke hearts, canned, jarred, or fresh
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix the panko, Italian breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Dip each artichoke heart into the egg wash and let the excess drip off.
  • Roll the hearts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so the coating sticks.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket. Place the hearts in a single layer and spray the tops generously with cooking spray.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through and re-spraying with cooking spray.
  • Plate, serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
