Place the chicken tenders in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let them marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Remove the chicken tenders from the buttermilk, letting the excess drip off. Coat each tender thoroughly in the flour mixture.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch. Lightly spray the tops of the tenders with cooking spray.
Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the tenders from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
