Recreate the famous Texas Roadhouse Legendary Margarita at home with three tequilas, Grand Marnier, and a fresh-squeezed lime sour mix. Bold, bright, and finished with a black salt rim — ready in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Fresh Lime Mix (makes ~3 margaritas):
1cupfresh lime juice, about 8–10 limes
3tablespoonsagave nectar, adjust to taste
½teaspoonorange extract, or 1 oz orange liqueur
Per Margarita:
¾ozsilver, blanco tequila
¾ozreposado tequila
¾ozañejo tequila
¾ozGrand Marnier
2 ½ozfresh lime mix
Black lava salt, or coarse sea/kosher salt, for the rim
Lime wedge, for rimming and garnish

Instructions
Combine the fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and orange extract in a jar. Seal and shake to combine; set aside.
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip it into black lava salt.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the silver, reposado, and añejo tequilas, Grand Marnier, and 2 ½ oz of the lime mix.
Shake well until cold and frosty, about 10 seconds.
Add fresh ice to the salted glass, then strain or pour the margarita over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

For a budget version, substitute one quality 100% agave tequila for all three — Jalisco-sourced for the most authentic flavor.
To make a pitcher, multiply the lime mix and spirits by the number of servings.
The lime mix keeps, sealed and refrigerated, for 3–4 days. Shake before using.
