Description

A homemade copycat of the hard-to-find Pillsbury Apple Filled Crescents — flaky crescent dough wrapped around warm cinnamon-apple filling and finished with a sweet icing drizzle. Ready in under 20 minutes in the air fryer.

Ingredients 

Crescents

  • 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough, 1 can

Apple Filling

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and finely diced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch, optional

Icing

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and lemon juice for 4–5 minutes until softened. Stir in cornstarch (mixed with 1 tsp water) in the last minute if you'd like it thicker. Cool slightly.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  • Spoon about 1 tbsp of apple filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up from the wide end toward the point and tuck the tip under.
  • Place on a greased air fryer tray or basket, leaving space between each.
  • Air fry at 320°F for 5–8 minutes, until golden brown. Check as they cook, since times vary by model.
  • Cool slightly. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla into a smooth icing and drizzle over the crescents. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a shortcut, use 1 cup canned apple pie filling instead of the fresh filling.
  • Works in any air fryer or oven-style model; adjust time as needed.
