A 5-minute homemade copycat of the classic Lawry's Seasoned Salt — savory, lightly sweet, and golden, with no MSG or fillers. Made with pantry spices, and you control the salt.
Ingredients
2tablespoonsfine sea salt, or table salt
2teaspoonsgranulated sugar
1teaspoonsweet paprika
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonground turmeric
1/2teaspooncelery salt
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
1/4teaspooncornstarch, optional, to prevent clumping
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a small bowl.
Whisk for about 30 seconds, until the color is completely uniform with no streaks.
For an ultra-fine texture, pulse briefly in a clean spice grinder (optional).
Transfer to an airtight jar, label, and store in a cool, dark pantry for up to 1 year.
