Description

A creamy, tangy, herb-packed copycat of Burger King's ranch dipping sauce — ready in 5 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  • Stir in the chives, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.
  • Stir, taste, adjust seasoning, and serve cold.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, reduce the buttermilk to 2 tbsp. For a pourable dressing, add an extra splash.
  • No buttermilk? Stir ¼ tsp lemon juice into ¼ cup milk and rest 5 minutes.
  • Stores in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Do not freeze.
