Description

This Copycat Auntie Anne's Cream Cheese Dip is the sweet, fluffy pretzel dip from the mall, made at home in 5 minutes with just cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. No cooking required, and it is perfect for cinnamon sugar pretzels, pretzel bites, apple slices, and graham crackers.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons milk, optional

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat the 4 ounces cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter with a hand mixer on medium for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
  • With the mixer on low, gradually add the 1 cup powdered sugar, then beat on medium for 1 more minute.
  • Beat in the 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and pinch of salt. Add milk 1 teaspoon at a time if you want a thinner dip.
  • Serve immediately with warm pretzels, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoon
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Small serving bowl
  • Airtight container, for storing leftovers

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 7 days; let it soften 15 minutes before serving.
