Description

Chung's frozen egg rolls come out crisp all the way through at 375°F for 12–14 minutes with one flip — no thawing and no oil. Includes separate timing for the mini egg rolls.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chung's frozen egg rolls, one 12 oz box
  • Sweet and sour sauce packets, included in box, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the egg rolls from the box and set the sauce packets aside. Keep the egg rolls frozen until the air fryer is ready.
  • Place the egg rolls in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
  • Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip each egg roll with tongs.
  • Cook for another 6 to 8 minutes, until deep golden brown and firm. Internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  • Rest 2 minutes before serving. The filling is extremely hot straight out of the basket.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Mini egg rolls: 400°F for 8–9 minutes, flipping once.
  • Do not thaw. Cook from frozen for the best texture and to avoid split wrappers.
  • Do not add oil. These are par-fried before freezing and crisp on their own.
  • Reheating: 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
  • Air fryers vary. If yours runs cool, add time rather than raising the temperature.
