Ingredients
1poundlarge shrimp, peeled and deveined
4tablespoonsolive oil
3tablespoonsunsalted butter
4clovesgarlic , minced
¼teaspoonred pepper flakes, optional
½cupdry white wine
3tablespoonslemon juice
1teaspoonsalt, to taste
1/2teaspoonblack pepper, to taste
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
Pour in the white wine and stir, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes (if using), then remove from heat.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately over pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
