Description

Delicious Carrabba’s Shrimp Scampi Recipe with garlic, lemon, and white wine sauce. Quick and easy skillet dinner perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic , minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Pour in the white wine and stir, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes (if using), then remove from heat.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately over pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
