Description
Cheesy, spicy buffalo chicken stuffed into a crusty loaf and heated until melty, in the air fryer or the oven.
Ingredients

round sourdough loaf
,
about 1 lb, 7–8 inches

cooked chicken
,
shredded
⅓
cup
buffalo sauce
2
oz
cream cheese
,
softened
1
cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
1
cup
shredded Monterey Jack cheese
¼
cup
crumbled blue cheese
3
tablespoons
butter

melted
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
2
green onions
,
sliced
Instructions
Instructions: Air Fryer
Stir the chicken, buffalo sauce and cream cheese together. Microwave 60–90 seconds, stirring once, until warm.
Slice the bread in a 1-inch grid, stopping ½ inch from the bottom.
Mix the butter and garlic powder and brush it into the cuts.
Stuff the cuts with the chicken mixture and mozzarella. Top with Monterey Jack.
Set the loaf on foil and fold the foil up the sides, leaving the top open.
Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the center reaches 165°F.
Top with blue cheese and green onions. Serve warm.
Instructions: Oven
Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
Prepare and stuff the bread as in air fryer steps 1–4.
Wrap the loaf completely in foil and bake 15 minutes.
Unwrap and bake 5–8 minutes more, until bubbly and 165°F in the center.
Top with blue cheese and green onions. Serve warm.

Check that your loaf fits your air fryer basket before you start; otherwise use the oven.
Air fryer oven: use the lowest rack.
Mini version: stuff dinner rolls and air fry at 350°F for 4–6 minutes.
