- In a large mixing bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. 
- In a small mixing bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil. 
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. 
- Spray your baking pan with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray. 
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, filling about 2/3 the way full. 
- Set the pan into the oven. 
- Turn the oven temperature to 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, until a wooden toothpick into the cake center comes out clean. Then remove the cornbread. 
- Let cool slightly before serving. 
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
