In a large mixing bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
In a small mixing bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture.
Spray your baking pan with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, filling about 2/3 the way full.
Set the pan into the oven.
Turn the oven temperature to 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, until a wooden toothpick into the cake center comes out clean. Then remove the cornbread.
Let cool slightly before serving.
