Description

Make a delicious Bob Evans Sausage & Egg Breakfast Bowl at home with this easy air fryer recipe. Packed with savory sausage, fluffy eggs, crispy hash browns, and melted cheese, it’s perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz ground breakfast sausage, about 1/3 lb, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  • Lightly grease two small oven-safe bowls or ramekins with cooking spray or oil.
  • Divide the thawed shredded hash browns evenly between the bowls, spreading into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the cooked sausage and diced onion evenly over the hash browns.
  • Season the beaten eggs with salt and pepper, then pour evenly over the sausage and hash brown layers in each bowl.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  • Place the bowls carefully into the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until eggs are fully set and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Carefully remove from the air fryer. Let cool for a minute, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve warm.
