Description

Crispy Bean and Cheese Air Fryer Taquitos made with just 3 ingredients in 15 minutes. Refried beans and melty cheddar rolled in corn tortillas and air-fried until golden — no deep fryer needed. Vegetarian, kid-friendly, and perfect for a quick snack, lunch, or game-day appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Refried Beans
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 corn tortillas

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F using the air-fry setting.
  • Lay a tortilla flat and add a line of refried beans and shredded cheese down the center, keeping the filling toward one edge.
  • Roll the tortilla up tightly around the filling and place it seam-side down.
  • Lightly spray the rolled tortillas with cooking spray and air-fry for about 5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dips and toppings.

Equipment

Notes

  • Warm the corn tortillas (20–30 seconds wrapped in a damp paper towel) so they roll without cracking.
  • Don't overfill — a modest line of filling rolls tighter and crisps more evenly.
  • Place seam-side down (or use a toothpick) to keep them from unrolling.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3–4 days; reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes to re-crisp.
