Description

Make Arthur Treacher’s famous cocktail sauce at home with this easy recipe. Perfectly tangy and creamy, ideal for dipping fried seafood and shrimp.

Ingredients 

  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Prepared horseradish , adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Hot sauce, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper , to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together 1/4 cup Mayonnaise and 1/4 cup Ketchup until smooth and well blended.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons Prepared horseradish to give the sauce its signature spicy tang.
  • Add fresh 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to lighten and brighten the sauce.
  • Mix in 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce for savory depth.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon Hot sauce if you want extra heat (optional).
  • Season with 1/4 teaspoon Salt and 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper r to taste.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
