Description

Make creamy and tangy Arby’s Tzatziki Sauce at home with fresh ingredients. Perfect for gyros, wraps, and dipping sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, full-fat for best texture
  • ½ cup cucumber, grated and well-drained
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, optional

Instructions

  • Grate the cucumber and place it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Squeeze out as much moisture as possible to avoid watery sauce.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Add olive oil if using. Stir well until smooth and creamy.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  • Use as a dip, spread, or sauce for gyros, wraps, grilled meats, or veggies.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
