1cupGreek yogurt, full-fat for best texture
½cupcucumber, grated and well-drained
1garlic clove, minced
1tablespoonfresh lemon juice
1tablespoonfresh dill, chopped
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoonolive oil, optional
Instructions
Grate the cucumber and place it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Squeeze out as much moisture as possible to avoid watery sauce.
In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Add olive oil if using. Stir well until smooth and creamy.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
