Description

Recreate Applebee’s creamy, cheesy chicken fettuccine Alfredo at home with this easy copycat recipe. Perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients 

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, optional

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 12 ounces fettuccine pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Season 2 large chicken breasts with 1 teaspoon Salt and 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
  • In the same skillet, melt 4 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add 3 cloves garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in 1 ½ cups heavy cream and simmer gently.
  • Gradually whisk in 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  • Plate the pasta and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with Chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

To cook chicken in the air fryer, season the breasts with salt, pepper, and any desired spices, then place them in the basket without overcrowding. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is golden and cooked through.
