  • 8 Wonton Wrappers

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175°C) for a few minutes to ensure it's hot and ready for cooking.
  • Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. You can either leave them as squares or cut them into desired chip shapes, such as triangles or rectangles, using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. Lightly spray the wonton wrappers with cooking spray or brush them with a small amount of oil. This will help them become crispy during the air frying process.
  • Season the wonton wrappers (optional): If desired, sprinkle your preferred seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, or any other herbs and spices, onto the wonton wrappers. This adds flavor to the chips.
  • Arrange the wonton wrappers in the air fryer: Place the coated and seasoned wonton wrappers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they don't overlap or touch each other to ensure even cooking. Slide the air fryer basket into the preheated air fryer and cook the wonton wrappers for 4-6 minutes. Check them halfway through and gently shake the basket to ensure they cook evenly.
  • Once the wonton chips are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Transfer them to a cooling rack or a plate lined with paper towels to cool and remove any excess oil.
  • Repeat for remaining wonton wrappers: If you have more wonton wrappers, repeat the process in batches until all the chips are cooked.
  • Once the wonton chips have cooled, they are ready to be enjoyed. Serve them as a snack on their own, or pair them with your favorite dips, such as salsa, guacamole, or hummus.
