Description

Crispy, golden air fryer wonton chips made with just 3 ingredients in under 10 minutes — perfect for dipping, topping salads, or snacking. Savory or sweet.

Ingredients

  • 16 wonton wrappers, cut into triangles
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil, or olive/avocado oil spray
  • ½ tsp kosher salt, or to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, sesame seeds, or cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the wonton wrappers into triangles or strips. Lightly spray or brush both sides with oil and sprinkle with salt and any seasonings.
  • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Air fry 4–6 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool — they crisp further as they cool. Repeat in batches with remaining wrappers.
  • Serve with your favorite dips, or use to top salads and soups.

Equipment

  • Cooking spray or pastry brush
  • Pizza cutter or sharp knife

Notes

  • Oven method: Bake at 375°F (190°C) on a parchment-lined sheet for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Watch closely at the end — they brown quickly.
  • Season immediately after frying so the salt adheres.
