Description

Quick and easy two-ingredient ice cream bread made in the air fryer. Soft, sweet, and ready in minutes for a fun, simple dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice cream, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • Optional: sprinkles for the top

Instructions

  • Start by melting the 2 cups ice cream You can do this by leaving it out at room temperature until it becomes soft and stirrable, or you can microwave it in short bursts, stirring in between until fully melted. Choose your favorite flavor to customize the taste of your bread.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted ice cream with the 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour Stir until just combined into a smooth batter. Avoid overmixing to prevent the bread from becoming tough.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) if your model requires preheating. Meanwhile, transfer the batter to a greased baking pan that fits your air fryer. A loaf pan works well for this, but make sure to check the fit beforehand.
  • Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Air fry for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. The exact time might vary depending on your air fryer model and the size of your pan.
  • Once done, carefully remove the pan from the air fryer and let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. This makes it easier to slice and helps to finalize the texture.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Baking Pan, Thin Pan works best
