Description

Air Fryer Turkey Wraps are crispy on the outside, hot and cheesy on the inside, and ready in under 15 minutes. Turkey, marinara, mozzarella, and roasted peppers rolled in a tortilla and air fried until golden — an easy lunch, dinner, or after-school snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas, 8–10 inch; low-carb or gluten-free both work
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 6 oz sliced deli turkey, about 1/2 cup turkey pepperoni also works
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers and onions, sliced and cooked
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • Dipping sauce, for serving (marinara, ranch, or Thousand Island)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  • Lay the tortillas flat. Spread 2 tablespoons of marinara across the center third of each, leaving a 2-inch border all the way around.
  • Layer on the turkey, then the cooked peppers and onions, then the shredded mozzarella.
  • Fold in the sides, then roll each tortilla up tightly from the bottom. Brush the outside with melted butter.
  • Place the wraps seam side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp and the cheese is melted.
  • Let rest 2 minutes before slicing. Cut on the diagonal and serve with dipping sauce.

Equipment

Notes

  • Temperature: 375°F for 6–8 minutes is the target for standard flour tortillas. Thin low-carb or gluten-free tortillas crisp faster — check at 4 minutes.
  • Soggy wraps: Too much sauce or wet vegetables. Keep the marinara thin and cook and dry the peppers and onions first.
  • Unrolling: Roll tight, don't overfill, seam side down.
  • Storing: Airtight in the fridge up to 3 days, cooled completely first.
  • Freezing: Wrap individually in foil, freeze up to 1 month. Freeze cooked, not raw.
  • Reheating: 350°F for 3–4 minutes from the fridge, 6–8 from frozen.
  • Sodium: Turkey pepperoni and jarred marinara are both salty. Deli turkey and a no-salt-added sauce bring it down substantially.
